Dear friends,
The first step to be taken in essay writing is choosing your own topic. It must be specific. Any topic, which is too general, will bore you and your readers. Make it distinct. You need also to be keenly interested in the aspect of the subject you have already chosen. It is supposed to come out of your very self.
Tomorrow we will find out what your topics are. I would like to assist you all in defining your subjects to be written on paper. I think it will be better to formulate the subjects in the form of a question.
If you don’t mind, please come to our classroom with a blank card or sheet of paper. Each one of you all will be asked to writes down the subject of your essays to be composed.
